Siddhartha - Dev Patel, who played in "Slumdog Millioniare", portrayed a teenage(Siddhartha) who is going through a time of learning and trying to find his path on his journey of life. He is also lives in a poor village in India and he is going through his life looking for answers.

                                                                    Govinda                    

                                                  

Govinda - Sean Astin,who is Sam in "Lord of the Rings", would play the role for Govinda because he is a loyal friend and follower of Frodo. He is always there to pick him back up.  

                                                                   Kamala 

                                                

Kamala - Sarah Callies,who has a role in the "Walking Dead", has a baby in a difficult situation like Kamala did and she later dies from the birth. She would fit the   role perfectly because she also had affairs with another man and we are unsure of her faithfulness. Kamala was a courtesan and she could not be faithful to one person that business.

 Vasudeva - Morgan Freedom fits the role because in many of his movies such as Lucy and Wanted, he portrays a teacher and provides guidance for the other characters.

   Kamaswami - Jason Statham would play the role of the merchant  because in the majority of his movies he plays a serious businessman like in the transporter movies. He would show Siddhartha to be more focused on his work.

     Buddha - Ben Kingsley would play the role of the enlightened one because his role in the movie "Gandhi" shows us that he can portray a character who is a spiritual leader. He can show the people how to live without desire and suffering.       

                                                               Siddhartha's Son 

                                                

  Siddhartha's son - Dakota Goyo would be the best actor to portray a stubborn and spoiled child as seen in "Real Steel".He comes from a wealthy family and when put with his father, who is broke, acts spoiled and would  rather be on vacation with the family that adopted him.

                                                   

 Location : I would make the setting of the movie in New York city because it is a place where there are multiple businesses and people looking for their calling. There is also a lot of homeless   people who are looking for guidance and a way to get back on their way. People that live there find others to build relationships with. This would be a popular setting for people because it is a commonplace that everyone knows.

 Changes: I would change the death of Kamala to a more common one such as a dying from a disease. It would make the story more modern and more relate able.  Also Siddhartha and Kamala would have a divorce because he didn't want this life of wealth. Siddhartha would move to a different place where he has less fortune but spiritually rich.
